What was the highlight of U Jomtien Pattaya
Lovely hotel with amazing views.
Great location right on Jomtien beach. Nice, quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The room was modern, spacious, bright with direct views of the sea. Nice decor and everything was very clean. There was an infinity pool, bar and gym on the rooftop where you could catch amazing sunsets in the evening. Salt restaurant had a good selection of breakfast on their buffet. All staff were very helpful. Easy to get around by catching a Songthaew outside the hotel heading to Pattaya Central.
Housekeeping usually attended our room in the afternoon. Only on Saturday they rang our doorbell at 9:40am, when we had just woken up, and wanted to clean our room. We told them to come back in 10 min. We then left for breakfast and were out all day. Came back around 16:30 and room still not made up. The came back around 17:00 but I informed them that it was too late now as we wanted a little rest before heading out for dinner. Lady exchanged our towels gave us some more amenities.

What was the highlight of U Jomtien Pattaya
A relaxing comfortable stay in a quiet part of Pattaya
First time in Jomtien Beach Pattaya very warm and informative greeting at check in from Yoon and May. I had a few minor issues which they rectified quickly. At the Salt restaurant I was always given a warm welcome from Ween who always seemed to go out of her way to ensure I was fully catered for. The hotel is literally on the beach front, just cross the road and you are there, I did not opt for a sea view room but I got a partial view. The room size is reasonable with a small balcony, the shower is different as it is behind the bed and open view, maybe not for the most prudent but that’s not me. A nice size comfortable bed with a large screen tv which had lots of channels to suit all worldwide guests. The roof top pool was very refreshing and never overcrowded with a bar to quench one’s thirst in the heat. Breakfast has a good selection, world buffet style, the restaurant has a good menu with plenty to choose from. I was never left disappointed but fulfilled.
I am always curious why hotels only stock small beers and charge in my opinion extortionate price even when they say it’s happy hour when a bar not far away will sell twice as much for half the price. My only major gripe was the fridge which in my opinion needs to be upgraded as it was not very cold.
