Modern, small…. but beautiful designed, excellently presented and staff are wonderful.

What a fantastic hotel. Meet all my expectations, first class service, brilliant room and food served in the restaurant and room service, absolutely first class. The infinity pool and its views was excellent. Certainly will want to come back to this hotel, but also try others within its chain…. Because if they are as good as this one, I’m in for a fantastic time. Thank you

What was the highlight of U Jomtien Pattaya

A relaxing comfortable stay in a quiet part of Pattaya

First time in Jomtien Beach Pattaya very warm and informative greeting at check in from Yoon and May. I had a few minor issues which they rectified quickly. At the Salt restaurant I was always given a warm welcome from Ween who always seemed to go out of her way to ensure I was fully catered for. The hotel is literally on the beach front, just cross the road and you are there, I did not opt for a sea view room but I got a partial view. The room size is reasonable with a small balcony, the shower is different as it is behind the bed and open view, maybe not for the most prudent but that’s not me. A nice size comfortable bed with a large screen tv which had lots of channels to suit all worldwide guests. The roof top pool was very refreshing and never overcrowded with a bar to quench one’s thirst in the heat. Breakfast has a good selection, world buffet style, the restaurant has a good menu with plenty to choose from. I was never left disappointed but fulfilled.

I am always curious why hotels only stock small beers and charge in my opinion extortionate price even when they say it’s happy hour when a bar not far away will sell twice as much for half the price. My only major gripe was the fridge which in my opinion needs to be upgraded as it was not very cold.

NO Family Room.. it's actually just 2 separate rooms next to each other......

The bedding and mattress was very very nice. Staff was helpful. Decent breakfast. Really good price

We booked the family room because all 4 of us wanted to stay together, hang out in common area so we booekd 1 family room.. This is major false advertising as it turned out that there is NO family room...there were 2 rooms NEXT to each other, each with its own key card. The rooms are NOT connecting. There is a small hallway and another door to maybe prevent ppl from accessing these two rooms but that's it. Totally defeated the purpose of a family room. The hotel should stop advertise it as is. Also, the stench garbage smell was present almost all the time. When we arrived at the parking lot the smell was unbearable. Even in the morning when we went to breakfast, if you leave the door open, then you can smell the garbage.

The location was good and the food

The receptionist was not at all helpful when we request if they at least can put us in sea view room (even from the other side) unlike when our friends were there before, they were given a good chance.

Nice hotel, worst location

Rooftop pool excellent view, clean and quiet. Sea view from room also nice. Rooms spacious and bed comfortable. Bell boy always helpful and ready to help us with anything.

No real beach across the hotel as it was shown in some photos. That area gets fully covered by water so for sure no chance to lay down there at the sun. Closest beach is about at about 500-1000 meters, but is dirty so we never stayed there to swim. We asked for English maps and they offered us only Russian or Chinese. There is nobody there to provide some guidance or recommend you what to visit around. They always asked us where do we want to go, so basically we had to google everything by ourselves with no hint from location. There is a lot of dirt and bad smelling outside the area of the hotel. No way to enjoy an evening walk on the streets without seeing and smelling a lot of garbage.

Perfect place to rest in Pattaya!!

Excellent Breakfast, fantastic top roof bar with swimming pool. Everyday they leave for us two detox juices in our minibar for free!! That was nice!! All the staff was very kind and willing to help.

The distribution of the spaces in the room was little weird, toilet was located in the entrance and separated from the shower.

Ok Hotel But Not Good for Relaxing

- Rooftop pool was really beautiful. Nice design. - Good policy on check-in, check-out. You can check-out at the same time as when you check-in. - Good policy on having breakfast whenever and wherever. However, breakfast wasn't hot when it came so we went to the buffet instead the next morning. - Location is great, just opposite from the beach although the beach is not clean and not good for swimming. Hotel is on a quiet part of Pattaya but close to many good seafood restaurants. - We really like the complimentary drinks from the minibar and the juices they brought to our room every evening.

- Staff need to be more professional. First mistake, they said we booked the room through booking.com under a non-refundable policy so they tried to charge our credit card prior to our stay, but we booked a refundable room! They apologised and said the info on their system was wrong. Second mistake, they put us in a sea-view room. But 10 mins after arriving in the room the staff called us to let us know they gave us the wrong room. They said if we wanted this room we would have to pay THB 700 more per night. Because we already settled in, we agreed to pay more, even though it wasn't our fault! Then they asked me when would we go down to the lobby to pay. They made a mistake then they rushed us to pay for the room. This is really bad. - Staff called us at 9.30 PM to ask if everything was ok. This is nice, but it shouldn't be at 9.30 PM. Some people are already asleep at that time. - Staff took their friends up on the rooftop pool. They weren't even guests of the hotel. They made so much noise. Other guests just wanted to relax. They need to be more professional. - At first we thought the price of the hotel was good. But when we stayed there, the price was a bit too high considering the materials of the decorations and quality of staff.

Seaview Rooms - Perfect choice

What a nice hotel! As expected from “U-“ it has good standards. Especially seaview rooms are fantastic. You litterally sleep with the sound of the waves at night. The only thing you see from your bed is the beatiful sea (eventhough brownish some of the day). The breakfast is above average and staff is friendly. Very close to our seafood restaurant, just around the corner.

Not that impressed

The room is big. They offer a dine-in breakfast. And it’s nice to have a room facing right next to the beach.

Some of the staffs are unfriendly nor helpful. They keep giving us the incorrect room card and we need to change it upon check-in for 3 times! After an hour of check-in, the internet connection was down and we can’t also watch TV (as the TV is internet-based). Also took more than an hour to get a visit by the hotel technical staff and another hour to fix it. The swimming pool on the rooftop is much smaller than what was trying to be presented in pic.

Very beautiful rooms and views!

We came to stay in this area as I used to live here and the hotel is a dose of calm away from the manic that is Pattaya. Jomtien in general is much calmer than the city. It may seem a little far out but their are regular pickup truck buses (baht bus) that go in to the city.
